Chapter 28 - Shyam did this.

Arnav drove as fast as possible, he crossed 3 traffic lights when they were red, he didn't care about the fines he was going to have to pay, he cared about his Di.
He was going to tell Khushi once he reached the hospital.

"Ms, where is room 302?" Arnav asked the receptionist in hurry, she told him the directions to the room
and asked one of the staff members to lead him the way.

Arnav reached Anjali's room and he begged the doctors to let him go in, but they were scanning her for any broken bones or any inner organ damage.

"Doctor, hows my sister?!"
"Shes still unconcious, we're trying our best to revive, her heart beat is becoming a bit stable, but her breathing pattern is a bit too fast, we're trying our best sir, you just have a seat and i'll inform you once i'm out."
"Ok doctor."

"Arnav ji?! Anjali ji?! Is she ok?!"
"Khushi, I don't know. I just really don't."

And for the first time, Khushi started to hear Arnav trying to hold back his tears.

"Arnav ji, I'm coming to the hospital right away!"
"Ok Khushi, thankyou...I love you."
"I love you too. See you Arnav ji."

Arnav still feeling uncomfortable was waiting for Khushi.
Khushi arrived, she looked worried and you could clearly see she was crying because her eye liner was wet and dripped half way down her pale cheeks. Arnav could never stand seeing Khushi cry, he just hated to see her cry.

"Arnav ji, Are you fine?" Khushi tried to sound strong, but Arnav knew she was weak.
"Khushi, I'm ok, stop crying, sit here." She sat next to him and broke down into his arms, she felt helpless, Di was like her sister, she couldn't bare to see her hurt, just like Arnav.

"Sir, shes ok, still a bit critical, but she has regained consciousness and is able to move her fingers.
she fractured her foot, but it'll be alright with in 6 weeks, I'll assign you these pain killers, make sure shes takes 1 each in the morning, after noon and night. As for now, you can go in and see her."

Arnav and Khushi switched looks to each other and were in peace that they could go meet Anjali.

Khushi entered first, as Arnav was about to step into the room, his phone rang.
It was Shyam.

"What?" Arnav asked fiercely.
"Woah Saleh Sahab, bit harsh don't you think?"
"No, Kya chayye tum ko?" [No, What do you want?]

"I just want to know, is rani saheba, ok?" Shyam asked sarcastically signalling to Arnav that was the cause of her accident.
"You know she had an accident, I didn't tell anyone at home, but Khushi. You did this didn't you?"
"Wow, well done, you've figured out so quickly!" Shyam clapped in amusement on Arnav's discovery.
"I won't let you get away with this Shyam Manohar Jha."
"Oh but I have Arnav. I already have." And he put the phone down.

Arnav was furious.

"Di, next time, ask me to pick you and never drive while on the phone, actually now you can't drive at all for the next 6 weeks, 7 for extra care."
"Chotte, i'm fin-"
"Di don't exert your self."
"I'm not thhoug-" Anjali started to cough. Arnav called the doctor immediately and took himself and Khushi out of the room so the doctors could make sure Anjali was healthy.

"Khushi. I need to tell you something. I know who caused Anjali's accident."
"Kaun?" [Who?]
"Shyam. Shyam did this."

Khushi couldn't believe this, she immediately started to cry.

"Khushi what happened?
"This is all my fault Arnav ji!" Khushi wanted to scream out but she couldn't because she felt weak.

"No it isn't, its ok, don't blame your self."
"But?"
"No buts. Its not your fault, calm down."

Khushi fell asleep in Arnavs lap at the hospital out side of Anjali's room, she was devasted to know Shyam did this, she knew his reason to cause Di's accident, it was herself.
