Chapter 19 - What happened last night?

Khushi woke up, she still had traces of her hangover but she was in control enough to stay stable.
She recognized the room which she was in 2 years ago. It was still as beautiful as it was then, white, with furry white carpet and a beautiful balcony sliding window.
She knew she was in the Raizada mansion, but she felt like she was dreaming.

She saw her phone on the bed side table and checked her messages, she read the one Arnav read last night and started to cry. But her tears turned to tears of joy.

She replied back to his text - "Hey Akshay! I read your text now, just want you to know, thankyou for letting me know, we can be friends we always will be! And i knew I wasn't gonna get married to you anyway, cause it was obvious you were still in love with Nikki, so its alright! love you always pal!xxx

She got a text from Akshay 5 minutes later saying "Hey Khushiii! You're welcome, its better for you to know than to find out like most women do, don't worry i'll always tell you my secrets, promise!:) hehe sorry if you felt awkward....anyway, you know what i think you should do?! date Arnav, he's perfect for you and he seems like he knows you for a long time!:OO anywho take care love you too kbob!:Dxxx"

After reading the last text Akshay sent her, her eyes popped out. "Date Arnav....Date Arnav..."
She repeated those 2 words over and over again in her mind. Just as that happened Arnav walked into the room and Khushi looked up in shock. Arnav thought Khushi was hurt cause of the text seeing she had tears in her eyes not knowing there tears of joy.
"Khushi! Tum theek ho? Kuch hua?" [Are you ok? Did anything happen?]
"Haan, hum theek hai, kyun, kya hua?" [Yup, I'm fine, why? what happened?]
"Nahi woh...Akshay?" [Oh cause Akshay...]
"Haan Akshay theek hai, hum theek, sab theek." [Yes Akshay is fine, I'm fine, everyone IS fine.]
Khushi said cheerfully making Arnav wonder how can she be so cheerful after a breakup.

"Arnav ji, um kal raat ko kya hua tha?" [Uh, what happened last night?]

--- flashback ---

"Arnav ji mei mei ap se- pyaar karti hu"
*Khushi falls asleep on Arnav's lap, he carries her to the front and drives off."

"You were drunk Khushi."
"Haan toh?" [So what?]
"Tum bhaang peeti ho, vodka nahi...toh..um." [You drink bhaang, not vodka..so..um.]
"Hahahaa! Nahi mei ab vodka, bhaang peeti hu, liken bus occasions par." [No I now drink vodka and bhaang, but only on occasions.]
"Toh kal raat tumareliye special thaa?" [So last night was special for you?] Arnav was trying to make Khushi remember what she said in a flirty way.

Khushi blushed trying to understand what he mean't, she could only remember the kiss, not her confession.
