The party was in a grand ball room with tables all around the sides of the hall stacked with confetti poppers, there was big round table in the middle of the hall which had wine, fruit punch, fruit salad, pizza, garlic bread, a chocolate fountain and jalebi's. In front of the hall's entrance there was a stage for all sorts of events, but today it was for some one who was going to announce the new year count down, and to have a couple dance.
Arnav went to the table to see what was there, when he saw the jalebi's he instantly remembered Khushi hogging on them at the canteen back at his office 2 years ago, he missed how stupid she looked like, or how cute she looked like, he just missed her to bits.

Khushi and Akshay reached, the moment Khushi stepped out of the car, everyone's eyes went onto her, she looked gorgeous more because of the moon light shining on her dress, she looked like an angel. Everyone was wearing black and blue dresses, few were wearing white, but none were wearing a dress as beautiful as Khushi's.
"Akshay? I look good right?" Khushi asked nervously.
"Yes baby! You always do!" Khushi blushed, they both walked in, arm in arm.
The moment the couple entered, everyone greeted them, they were more than 60 people in the hall which is why Khushi kept sticking to Akshay, so she wouldn't get lost.

The lights were dimmed and the atmosphere was blue just like the moonlight, there were 30 minutes left till new year and everyone was drinking fruit punch or wine, many people got drunk and some stayed sane. But Arnav, Akshay and Khushi weren't one of the drunkards.
Arnav felt hungry so he went to the table covered with food, Khushi was at the table too. Khushi took her plate and got garlic bread with fruit salad. Arnav got the fruit salad and he also took pizza. As Khushi was getting her all time favourite indian Mithai [Sweet], her hand touched someone elses, she looked up to say sorry, but when she and the person's eyes met, they both were standing there with a blank face, speechless.
"Uh I'm uh, sorry." Khushi put her head down so she wouldn't have to meet with Arnav's gaze, she walked away looking at the floor.
"Khushi?" Arnav whispered to himself.

Arnav couldn't think about how that could've been Khushi, and if it was, he had many questions like; where was she for these 2 years? how did she come here? He left his plate and followed the girl in the white dress, Khushi kept looking from the corner of her eye to see if Arnav was on her tail, and yes he was, she fasten up her pace and kept walking faster to not let Arnav talk to her or see her.
Arnav was desperate to find out whether that was Khushi, but he wondered how he would do that, until he saw Lavanya.
"Hey Lavanya, long time! what are you doing here?"
"Hey ASR, nothing! I'm just here for the new year party, what about your self?"
"Same same, hey Lavanya, um can you do me a favour?"
"I've met you for a minute and you're already asking me for a favour, you're still the same ASR, but sure!"
"Could you find a girl with a white dress which you know, and just talk to her, I mean for few seconds, I wanna see something..."
"Um Okay? Sure? why not."

Arnav was following Lavanya through the crowd, she knew 3 girls in the crowd, one of them who was Annie, another Kangana, and last but not least Khushi.
She met Annie, she met Kangana and she was still walking around until she bumped into Khushi.
"Khushi?!" Lavanya was so excited to see Khushi.
"LA?!" Khushi was too. They both hugged and talked, Arnav was watching Khushi's face until he finally confirmed that yes, this was Khushi. Khushi Kumari Gupta.
