Chapter 23 - You have to tell me.

Khushi still intoxicated leaped out of her bed and chased Arnav.
"Mr Raizada. Tell me your answer. I've told you mine."
"Khushi, get back in bed, you're very drunk and I bet you, you don't even know what you're saying."
"I do!" Khushi hiccuped. And Arnav smirked at her.
"Wait until you're done being a drunk, and I'll tell you." Arnav said a quickly walked off.

"This laad governer sure knows how to get under my skin at times." Khushi talked to her self and went back to bed.

---

Shyam

Why did Khushi have to come back, why. Shyam kept thinking to himself, he was now stuck between who to choose, Anjali and Puja, or Khushi.
Shyam was nervously pacing back and forth in his bedroom until,
Khushi passed by his room.
He quickly ran out, grabbed Khushi's hand and took her into his room and before anyone could see, he locked it.

"What are you doing?! Chodiye hummey abhi isi waqt!" [Leave me at once!]
"Kyun Khushi ji? App hi ne mujse kahaan, ki jab pyaar ho jata hai, woh ladki ya ladka ku nahi chodna, ya bulna, aur app, app ne khud ki baat ko paltadiye!"
[Why Khushi? You only told me, that when you fall in love, You shouldn't forget the girl/boy, and you, you have done the complete opposite!]

"Kyunki app shaadi shuda hai aadmi ho! App kisi ke papa ho! Ab chodiye!"
[Because you're a married man, you're a father to a daughter! Now leave me!]

Khushi was struggling to get rid of his grip, seeing Shyam was hurting Khushi, he let go of her, but blocked the door.

"Khushi ji, Kyun? Kyun app ne aisa kiya hum ko?"
[Why Khushi, Why did you do this to me?]
"Humne pehle sey app ko jawab batadiye, ab haatiye hamare raste sey."
[I already gave you an answer, now move out of my way.] Shyam wouldn't agree, so Khushi pushed Shyam and ran out of the door as quickly as she could.

---

Khushi was sitting on her bed with tears in her eyes, that too fat and crystal clear ones.
Arnav came in all happy, but that changed when he saw Khushi sulking.

"Khushi, kya hua?! What happened?!"
"Ku-ku-kuch nahi Arnav ji.." [Nothing Arnav ji...]
"Tell me Khushi. Now.."
"Nahi.."
"You have to tell me what happened."

Khushi wondered if she should reveal the fact that she use to be in a relationship with Shyam 3 years ago until she found out he was married.

"Woh Sh-Sh-"

"Chooottteeeeeeee!" Anjali called out to Arnav and Arnav immediately replied back telling her to wait, but she was in a hurry so she kept calling him. So he went, to get the best-est news of his Di's life and his, Anjali was pregnant again.

---

"Khushi! Di's pregnant! Isn't that great?!" Arnav went by Khushi's side to inform the news but she immediately felt sick and rushed to the toilet and puked.

"Khushi, are you ok?! You shouldn't have had the vodka in the morning!" He was saying as he was holding her hair so it could be out of the way as she let out her puke.

"I'm fine Arnav ji, I just need rest.."
Arnav nodded and left her room.

---

I can't tell anyone this secret. Khushi was talking to her self, i'm just going to have to keep a far distance away from Shyam she thought. So she slept and just felt uncomfortable.

Khushi woke up to see Anjali Di trying to slowly come into her room without waking her up.

"Arrey Di, app? Aye ander, bohoth Khushiya miley app ko app ke chotte se pari ko!"
[Di, its you, come in! May you have many happiness and your little angel!]
"Hahaha Danyeva Khushi ji! App lunch kileye arri hai?"
[Thankyou Khushi! Are you coming for lunch?]
"Ji, hum atteh hai, app jaye aur acha sa khaye"
[Yes, I'll come, you go and have food, and eat well!]
They both exchanged smiles and Anjali left the room.

---

Khushi went to join the table, Arnav and Shyam were already there, as Arnav saw Khushi, he pulled out the chair for her, so did Shyam, but Khushi preferred to sit next to Arnav, so she did and he gave her a side smirk.
