Khushi and Arnav reached the restaurant, Khushi was the only one in a bright red Saree, while everyone was wearing a black or white or green one, she was the one girl who stood out the most. At home she was a clumsy crazy girl, but outside, she was well mannered and had more etiquette than anyone could ever have. Khushi was holding a red and black striped bag, it was a birthday gift from her 'Raj' but ofcourse, she knew there was no such person as Raj, she bought that bag herself.
As soon as Arnav and Khushi were sat down. Khushi immediately started playing with her thumbs, she had no one to text or anything, but she was just nervous, because her boss which kissed her few hours ago had taken her out, for no reason, whatsoever. As she was feeling nervous, a big gush of wind blew towards Khushi's back, and blew her Saree right out of her shoulder, everyone started staring at her, especially the men.
"Hum-hum, toilet. I'll be back" Khushi was scared to even walk towards the toilet alone. Because just as she got up, a man got up too, Arnav saw and immediately stood infront of the whole crowd, and started to put Khushi's Saree, back on her shoulder, luckily Khushi's purse had a silver safety pin which Arnav took out just to pin her Saree to her blouse.
"Shukriya." Said Khushi and Arnav made her sit back down.
Arnav and Khushi started eating and talking about the job and the project, they pretended to forget about the kiss even though they knew they can never forget their first kiss.
Anjali and Shyam entered the restaurant and they saw Arnav and Khushi sitting 3 rows of tables infront of them. Shyam twitched. But Anjali dragged him along to Arnav so he could be introduced to Khushi.
"Ello Shyam ji! This is Arnav's fian-" Anjali cut off when Arnav made an awkward face at her.
"I mean new employee! Khushiji!" giggled Anjali.
"Namaste.." Khushi said calmly.
She saw Shyam's face twitch, and she immediately turned away to ignore him.
"Er one second, I need to go make a phone call to Raj. I'll be back Sir." Khushi told Arnav which made him furious, but he let her go anyway.
She stepped out side of the restaurant and started to cry. She knew Shyam, she knew him. He wanted to marry her, but she rejected him once she found out he was in another relationship of some sort, so she always avoided him whenever she could. A minute after Khushi stepped out, 4 men were walking towards her.
"Give me your money!" The tallest one said.
"Hey lets not rob a pretty girl? Lets do something else to this cutie" All of them stepped forward towards Khushi.
"Ey, stay away from me! You disgusting men, get away!" They were drunk, one of them came next to Khushi and started to put their hand around her waist.
"Leave me alone!" They were about to make her saree fall off until a hand grabbed 3 of them from the back.
Arnav. He came to Khushi to check on her. The one guy touching Khushi was the one who got Arnav angry the most. He only targeted the one who was holding Khushi's waist, he punched him harder than ever, he got very angry. Khushi ran away to Arnav's car cause one of the men were chasing her, Arnav saw him and ran after him and rugby tackled him.
"How" Every punch he spoke.
"Dare!" Punch.
"YOU!" Punch.
He punched the day lights out these guys.
"Arnav ji!" That was the first time ever Khushi had called him Arnav ji.
She started to sob, and Arnav went to her to comfort her.
"Its ok, Khushi there gone, its alright." Arnav was touching her hair with bloody knuckles.
"App! App kei haath?! Yours knuckles, Arnav ji!? Are you ok?!" Khushi was tearing and Arnav couldn't bare that, so he just pulled her into a huge bear hug while Shyam silently watched them.
