Chapter 30 - Pain and Promises.

It was about 5 am when Khushi woke up, she realized she was causing Arnav to stress as he was leaning against the bark of a tree cause his neck to become a bit stiff. He was awake because of that, and had tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry.." Khushi said slowly getting up from his lap.
"No, its alright, you were sleepy, I understand."
"But you didn't sleep the whole night!" She said in guilt.

---

"Sir both of them are awake, now what?"
"Aim the sleeping shot at the girl, make sure you hit her!"
"Yes sir. And the man?"
"Oh let him watch in agony, if he tries to hurt me, I hurt him twice as more."
"Ok sir."

Shyam cut the call again having an evil grin take over his face.

"Now lets see how you finish the rasms in time Arnav. That is a drug which will keep Khushi ji a bit, lets say, restful for 2 days, you'll be gone to London by then for 2 weeks! and who knows what else might happen to your pyaari si di." He spoke to him self, knowing he had a scheme in his mind.

Shyam left the house to go meet Anjali, carrying a glycerin bottle along with him.

---

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah!" Khushi yelled out in pain, she had a sharp shooting pain at the nape of her neck.
"Khushi!?" Arnav screamed out worriedly.

"Arnav ji, I uh...Uhhh....Uh, I need to uh, rest?"
"Khushi...are you alright?"
"Hahah yeah ye-"

Khushi fell into Arnav's lap, face first, she didn't even bother to get up and yell in pain about her nose or things she would normally do.

"Khushi! Khushi!" Arnav was slapping Khushi's face lightly, he wanted her to wake up.
He took the bottle in his hands and sprayed Khushi's face.

She opened her eyes slightly, but closed them again.

Arnav was getting paranoid and he didn't understand what he was going to do.

"Khushi!" Arnav carried her to the car, and took her to the hospital of where his Di was.

---

"Doctor, is she gonna be alright?"
"Yes sir she's fine, she need rests for around three to two days, no walking around much, just lying down."
"Ok thankyou doctor."

He was waiting to meet both the women he loved eagerly, but time was always a player.

Meanwhile

Shyam got out of the car and entered the hospital, he asked for Anjali's room and headed there.
Before he entered the room, he went into the toilets into the cubicles and put drops of glycerin in his eyes,
making it look like he was crying.

He made his way to Anjali's room.

"Rani Saheba!"
"Shyam ji! Aap, app yahaan kya karey hai?!"
[What are you doing here?!] She didn't want Shyam to know what happened cause she was worried that he'd get worried, which is exactly what happened.

He started to cry.

"Oh don't cry Shyam ji, i'm fine! Honestly!"
"No, look at you, you're in such a state?!" Pointing at her fractured foot.

"Its just a fracture, I'm ok, don't worry, honestly!"

While the wife was trusting her cheating husband, Arnav walked in to check on her.

---

"Chotte, tum bi yahaan? Soi nahi?!"
[Even you're here?! you didn't sleep?!]

"No di, I came here to get Khushi to the hospital, she um had some dehydration faint problem or something like that, so i came here to get her checked."
"Ohhh, acha..." Anjali giggled, Arnav was annoyed at how his Di's hand and Shyam's were intwined.

"Jijaji, can I have a word with you?"
"Oh Saleh Sahab, but Rani Saheba?"
"Di will be fine."

---

Shyam was eager not to leave Anjali because then Arnav would create a scene.
So he slowly moved his hand to the buttons which move the bed up and down and pressed up.

Anjali's fractured foot was yanked up in the air and she was yelling in pain.

"DI?!"
"Rani Saheba!"

She was crying, Arnav was shouting doctor continuously until someone came.

---

"Sir her fracture has gotten a bit worse, so we'll have to numb her again..."
"Oh god.." Arnav was crying.

"But she'll be fine."
"Ok thanks."

Arnav went and checked on Khushi, she stood up, but felt dizzy and fell again, Arnav was staring at her from the hospital rooms window making sure she was safe and secure.

"I won't let anything happen to you or Di, Khushi, thats my promise to you."

And he went and sat back on a waiting seat wondering where Shyam went off to.
